Within the framework of educational cooperation, the Confederation and the cantons are coordinating their strategies for the integration of ICT into the education system. The Confederation contributes to creating the essential preconditions; to the timely observation of developments in the sphere of digitalisation in education and to the revision of the foundations for identifying the need for action throughout Switzerland; to the promotion of cooperation via institutional and specialist networks; and to improving the dialogue between different stakeholder groups with the aim of drawing up proposals for action and solutions throughout Switzerland for the attention of education policy decision-makers.
