National address service
At present there is no national service by means of which administrative units can validate, search or match current valid residential addresses.
Via the national address services (NAS,) the public administrative agencies of the Confederation, cantons and municipalities will in future be able to access the residential addresses of inhabitants throughout Switzerland.
