On the basis of the SERI report entitled "Challenges of digitalisation for education and research in Switzerland" [Herausforderungen der Digitalisierung für Bildung und Forschung in der Schweiz], the action plan defines eight areas for action with specific measures in order to exploit the opportunities of digitalisation for education and research.
